A quick gallery documenting recent wanders through Fort Fisher Basin, Carolina Beach State Park, some occasionally interesting local retention ponds, and for contrast, Brooklyn Bridge Park. Nature is everywhere,  immediate and available at a variety of scales to a variety of senses, free (well, mostly) and authentic. And so much cooler than someone’s megalomaniacal interpretation / commercialization of the? a? “metaverse”…
